What you may do without asking
- Read, save, and bookmark any page on the Site for personal use.

- Share links to any page on the Site by any means — social media, email, your own blog.
- Cite the framework in academic, journalistic, or professional work, with attribution as above. The framework’s named concepts (the seven forces, the five failure patterns, the Decision Architect, the Decision Distribution Map) belong to the book and should be credited to it.
What requires permission
The following uses require our prior written permission. Email hello@brilliantio.com describing the use you have in mind. We are usually happy to say yes; we just need to know what is being made.
- Reproducing a complete article or substantial portion of one anywhere outside this Site.
- Republishing, syndicating, or aggregating content automatically.
- Using the book cover, our wordmark, photographs of the author, or any illustrations from the Site in your own materials.
- Translating articles into another language for publication.
- Building any product, course, training programme, or paid offering that adapts or substantially restates the framework.
- Using the framework’s named terms as the title or subtitle of another book, course, or product.
Reporting infringement
If you believe content on this Site infringes a copyright that belongs to you, please email hello@brilliantio.com with:
- a description of the work you say is infringed
- the specific URL on this Site where the infringing material appears
- your contact information
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is unauthorised
- a statement, made under penalty of perjury where applicable, that the information is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf
We will investigate and respond promptly. If we agree, we will remove or attribute the material. If we disagree, we will explain why and the matter can be resolved through the appropriate legal channels.
A short note on scraping for AI training
We do not consent to the bulk scraping or ingestion of content on this Site for the training of generative AI models. If you are an AI lab or a service crawling on behalf of one, please honour our robots.txt and any specific bot directives we publish.
