Team Decision Shapers Audit — delivered through the Lab
For organisations, the audit is not a generic questionnaire. It is delivered through a facilitated Decision Shapers Lab, in which your team works through a live decision, scenario, or strategic challenge — and sees the forces shaping their own outcomes in real time.
What the Lab surfaces
- Which forces dominate your decision process — and which voices the room consistently rewards.
- Which perspectives are missing or underused — and the structural reason they keep going quiet.
- Where your team is vulnerable to the five recurring failure patterns: false alignment, the speed trap, the blind-spot cascade, analysis paralysis, and innovation theatre.
- How the architecture of your decision process — who is in the room, what is decided before they arrive, how dissent is handled — affects the quality of your outcomes.
- What practical, low-cost interventions could improve the way your team decides without restructuring the team itself.
Best for
Leadership teams, boards, founders, departments, universities, chambers, and organisations facing complex or high-stakes decisions where the cost of the wrong call is meaningful and the path to the right one is not obvious.
How a Lab is structured
Every Lab is built around a real decision your team is currently facing — not a hypothetical case. We work with you in advance to scope the question, identify who needs to be in the room, and shape the format so the session produces an output you can actually act on.
The Lab itself is a facilitated working session. Participants are guided through structured rounds that surface the forces at play, name the patterns they fall into, and test the decision against the perspectives the room would normally skip past. The output is a documented decision, a written reading of the team's force profile, and a short set of next interventions.
Format
Labs can be delivered in person or remotely. Typical engagements run a half-day or a full day, with optional follow-up sessions for the team to retrospect on how the decision aged. Multi-Lab programmes are available for organisations working through a sequence of strategic decisions over a quarter or year.
How to start
Tell us about the decision you are navigating, who is currently in the room, and what the cost of getting it wrong would be. We will come back with the shape of a Lab that fits — or, if a Lab is not the right answer, what we think is.
